Why Choose?

I am currently in Arkansas, which is surpisingly still full of Ron Paul signs. This, combined with a comment that Erica made and the current state of the Democratic primary compelled me to create this.
I apologize for contributing to the poor level of political dialog in our country. Also, have I mentione dhow much I hate the stupid way that our media frames stories? Personally, I think the least important things to think about when deciding on a president are their race and sex. The fact that the media focuses on it so much shows how far we still have to go.

Compared to the incredibly ass-tastic coverage the mainstream media has been providing this is excellent!
> I think the least important things to think about when deciding on a president are their race and sex
I'm getting so tired of hearing the bullshit stereotyping and conventional wisdom even in places like NPR("Senator Clinton is expected to do well in Texas in large part due to the large latino population...She is expected to carry Rhode Island because it's a largely Catholic Working Class Union state")
Just once I'd like to hear a major media outlet summarize how the candidates voted on major issues like the war, the deregulation of the mortgage industry, warrantless wiretapping, immigration, etc.
Instead we they waste the airwaves telling people how they're going to be voting and parroting the press releases and paid advertisements coming from the candidates.
The most substantitve thing they've covered in this race was Hillary's tear duct.

hey! Where is all of the private thoughts of Edwin Gore? I come here looking for the low down dirty, and all I get is neutral content, devoid of any deeply personal exposition! What the hell? Come on! Give it up! Enquiring minds want to know! What is running in the mind of the fiendish and smoldering bone Pottle known as King Gore?
