What a man reads, or even claims to read, speaks volumes about him. George Bush claims to be a fan of novels about remorseless arab killers, for example. Mitt Romney, on the other hand, is a fan of Battlefield Earth; possibly the most illiterate work of fiction ever published.
I could understand if Mitt was a Scientologist and had been brainwashed to like crappy scifi and Tom Cruise movies, but he's not; he's a Mormon who has been brainwashed to believe the writings of noted crackpot and polyamour Joseph Smith.
So this make no sense unless Mitt Romney really is just a pretty dumb guy that likes terrible books and doesn't understand that associating himself with L. Ron Hubbard and Scientology, however remotely, is a bad idea. If that's the case, this guy might actually be dumb enough to be president.
